Russian Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group for settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict Yuri Merzlyakov called a lie Azeri media alleged reports that he has made statements on possible passing of part of OSCE MG authorities to the PACE. «I did not state it,» the Russian Ambassador said. In his words, the reports appeared after the session of the PACE Special Commission on Nagorno Karabakh in Paris in September. «I did not state in my speech at the session. I cannot understand where they took these statements from,» Merzlyakov remarked. It should be noted that some time ago Azeri media reported the Russian Co-Chair has allegedly made a statement on possibility for part of the OSCE MG authorities to be conveyed to the PACE, reported Day.az.
