US RECOGNITION OF ARMENIAN GENOCIDE TO PREVENT SUCH CRIMES IN FUTURE, SENATOR BAYH CONSIDERS

The US should recognize the Armenian Genocide committed in Ottoman Turkey early last century. This will let prevent such crimes against humanity in the future. As reported by “Arminfo” agency, Senator Evan Bayh said at a meeting with Armenian Americans of New Jersey. He said he was ready to further be consecutive in the issue of recognition of the Armenian genocide by the US Congress. “I am happy to carry on the legacy of my father – Senator Birch Bayh, who also struggled for the just cause,” Bayh Jr. noted.
