Azaldyg opposition bloc of Azerbaijan called upon the Azeri government members to offer their resignation if they “do not want to share the fate of Fahrad Aliyev, Ali Insanov, Akif Muradverdiyev and others.” “If the Ministers, who are held in custody at present, had resigned in time and joined the opposition we could defend them and present as political prisoners to the international community. However they did not do it and became ordinary criminals, who are accused of corruption. The incumbent officials should comprehend one truth: they are not insures from prison. They should resign and support democratic forces until it’s too late,” Day.az reported.
