FM of Armenia Met with Armenian Businessmen of Canada

Today Armenian Foreign Minister (FM) Vartan Oskanian met with delegation of representatives of the Canadian Armenian Business Council Vahram Pirjanyan, reported the Press Service of the Armenian MFA. V. Oskanian appreciated the interest and confidence of the businessmen towards the economic potential and the market of Armenia. The parties discussed prospects of development of Armenia and the Armenia-Diaspora cooperation in various economic fields. Within that context the Armenian FM presented a number of ideas that may be subject of a nation-wide discussion. Armenian businessmen of Canada expressed their readiness to take part in the discussion and to assume commitments on implementation of specific programs. Within the framework of their visit to Armenia 12 entrepreneurs from Canada will meet with officials and business people of Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh. Meetings in the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Armenia and the Armenian Development Agency are planned.
