Mammadyarov Discussed Karabakh Issue with CE Leaders

Matters of Nagorno Karabakh settlement and development of bilateral relations were discussed in the course of Azeri FM Elmar Mammadyarov’s meetings with Council of Europe leaders in Strasbourg. Mr. Mammadyarov took part and addressed the 115th session of the CE Committee of Ministers. Within the forum framework the Azeri FM met with CE SecGen Terry Davis, PACE Secretary General Bruno Haller. The organization representatives expressed readiness to assist Azerbaijan to implement the Action Plan within the EU New Neighborhood Policy program. The returns of the parliamentary elections, activities of PACE Monitoring Committee co-rapporteurs were discussed with B. Haller and M. Sorians. They appreciated measures to eliminate transgressions at the elections.
