Some $1.5 Million Collected for Karabakh Restoration November 16-23

Some $1.5 million donations are gathered within November 16-23 to restore, develop and resettle Mardakert region. Specifically, the phonothon held in Armenia November 16-18 gathered 27 million drams. The largest sum, as expected, was collected during the European phonothon and made 1 million euros. Hayastan All-Armenian Fund recurrent telethon will be held in Los Angeles today. The sum collected during the event will be spend on restoration of the Mardakert region. NKR President and Speaker, as well as Armenian FM V. Oskanian and Hayastan All-Armenian Fund Executive Director Naira Melkumyan are in the US to take part in the telethon, reported the Azg newspaper.
