The President of Nagorno Karabakh Republic Bako Sahakyan arrived in Paris for a working visit Thursday, April 25.
On the same day, President Sahakyan laid a wreath at the monument of Komitas in the center of Paris to commemorate the Armenian Genocide victims.
The President further met Armenian Ambassador to France Vigen Chitechyan to discuss Artsakh-Diaspora ties.
President Sahakyan also visited the residency of the French Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church and met its primate Archbishop Norvan Zakarian.
Strengthening of Arsakh-Diaspora relations, Pan-Armenian as well as domestic and foreign policy issues were discussed during the meeting.
In conclusion, Sahakyan stressed the role of the Armenian Apostolic Church in maintaining national identity.
