When addressing the sitting of the OSCE Council of Ministers today OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Slovenian Chairman Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel noted the progress achieved during the Karabakh conflict settlement process. In his words, the OSCE fact-finding mission members who visited the regions adjacent to Nagorno Karabakh as well as the high-level meetings, including the ones of the Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan for the first time during rather a long period aroused hope that the resolution of the problem can be found. “We should reflect it in the Agreement that will be adopted upon completion of the OSCE Foreign Ministers. We will all benefit form establishment of peace and stability in the South Caucasus. I call upon the parties to work jointly and settle the remaining discrepancies with the OSCE mediation,” the OSCE Chairman-in-Office stated.
