EU Ready to Promote Karabakh Conflict Settlement

“If we are asked to deeper engage in the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement process, we will do it,” EUHigh Representative for the CFSP Javier Solana stated at a joint news conference with the Armenian, Azerbaijani and Georgian FMs. In his words, very important meetings are expected within the next few days. “Is something clears up during these meetings you can be sure we will honor our commitments to out friends and help them,” Solana said. He also noted the progress achieved in the settlement process recently. “We hope that 2006 will be a start for the Karabakh problem resolution,” Javier Solana underscored, Mediamax reported.
