ARMENIANS AMONG CANDIDATES FOR NOVOROSSIYSK MAYOR

Several people have expressed desire to participate in the elections of Novorossiysk mayor to be held March 23. There are also Armenians among them – Novorossiysk city Duma deputy R.Minosian and docker, mechanization expert of Novorossiysk sea trade port Ltd. N.Kabasakalian. As reported by “Yerkramas” newspaper of the Armenians of the south of Russia, a solid Armenian community resides in Novorossiysk, “Luys” Armenian cultural association works for over 10 years. Lately our compatriot S.Zirinov won the elections for the Legislative Assembly of Krasnodar region in one of the districts of Novorossiysk.
