PACE Rapporteur on Prisoners of War in Karabakh Conflict Region Appointed

Dutch MP Leo Platvoet is appointed rapporteur on prisoners of war, hostages and missing persons in the zone of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict of the Committee for Migration, Refugees and Population of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE). Leo Platvoet’s candidacy was also approved by the PACE. During his trip to the region the rapporteur will hold investigations in compliance with the list of Azeri and Armenian prisoners of war, hostages and missing persons and will arrange a report for the PACE. The exact date of the visit will be determined at the PACE winter session in late January, reported IA Regnum.
