The President of Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh) Republic Bako Sahakyan visited Martakert region on Friday, May 24 to attend the final stage of command-staff exercises.
At the event, NKR Defense Minister Movses Hakobyan delivered a summary report, while President Sahakyan stressed the combat readiness of Artsakh defense among key factors in the country’s security and state building.
The Karabakh leader further held a working consultation in the Martakert regional center to focus on capital repair of the town’s water supply system.
Minister of Municipal Engineering Karen Shahramanyan and the head of the structures in charge delivered reports on the process, Central Information Department at Artsakh President’s Office reported.
