Chapel in Armenian cemetery restored

The chapel and the outbuildings in the Armenian cemetery in Turkish city of Malatya, earlier demolished by the city hall, have been restored by the government and will be transferred to the city’s Armenian community.

The chapel will open its doors on June 29, Taraf paper reported citing the head of the Armenian union HAYder Khosrov Keleravitoglu. This year cultural tours will be organized to the chapel, Holy Trinity Armenian Monastery and St. Gregory the Illuminator.
