Armenia and Azerbaijan agreed on the need to hold a high-level meeting on Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement, OSCE Minsk Group co-chair Ian Kelly’s office said.
“The sides agreed on the need to hold a high-level meeting, and the co-chairs will continue working with the foreign ministers to prepare for the event," the office said, Trend reported.
Co-chairs of OSCE Minsk Group Igor Popov (Russia), Jacques Faure (France), Ian Kelly (U.S.) and the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk visited the region on May 23-24. The mediators noted that organization of a meeting between Armenian and Azerbaijani Presidents Serzh Sargsyan and Ilham Aliyev was discussed during the visit.
