ARMENIAN DEBT TO TURKMENISTAN TO BE PAID OFF LATE IN MARCH

Armenian debt to Turkmenistan for the used gas will be finally paid off late in March 2003. Chief of the department on managing the state debt of the Armenian ministry of finance and economy Arshaluys Margarian told “Arka” agency. In his words, Armenia owes Turkmenistan some $11 million. He reported that at the end of 2002 the parties agreed that Armenian enterprises would pay off the debt by providing goods.
