Russian vice premier Victor Khristenko suggested Georgia to begin joint work on restoring the railway communication through the territory of Abkhazia and Georgia, which connected Russia with Armenia. As reported by “Mediamax” agency, Khristenko showed the initiative at the meeting with Georgian parliament head Nino Burjanadze in Moscow. The Russian party considers that the railway restoration is of high importance, as it creates opportunities of railway communication with Europe for Armenia and Georgia.
