Germany will continue and expand cooperation with Armenia in 2003. German ambassador to Armenia Hans-Wulf Bartels told “Arka” agency. In his words, the numerous economic cooperation programs will be continued, in particular those on reconstruction of the water-supply system and restoration of electric power stations. In H.Bartels’ words, the fifth and sixth blocks of the Kanaker hydro power plant, reconstructed with the financial support of Germany, were launched at the beginning of January. The scope of German programs in Armenia will be finally approved early in April, the ambassador reported. Let us note that an Armenian-German investment forum is planned in Frankfurt-on-Main in 2003.
