FIDE published the July list of strongest chess players of the world, with Armenian grandmaster Levon Aronian retaining the second spot with 2813 points.
Magnus Carlsen (Norway) tops the list with 2862 points; Italy’s Fabiano Caruana climbed 3rd with 2796 points.
According to the list, Armenian grandmaster Sergei Movsesian is 49th, Vladimir Akopian is 56th, Gabriel Sargissian is 72nd.
