EU Not Against Armenia-Iran Cooperation in Energy Field

The European Union doesn’t mind the Armenia-Iran cooperation in energy field, EU Commissioner for External Relations and European Neighborhood Policy Benita Ferrero-Waldner stated at a press conference in Yerevan. In her words, Armenia’s cooperation with Iran is very important especially in energy diversification. At the same time she noted that France, Germany, UK on one part and Javier Solana on the other are holding talks with Iran on the nuclear program. The EU Commissioner said Russia will also join the negotiations.
