Presentation of Karabakh under Discussion book, prepared by Association of Humanitarian Research of Azerbaijan, was organized at International Press Center in Baku. In the words of Association head Avez Hasanov, the book was issued owing to the financial support of Conciliation Resources. Karabakh under Discussion is a collection composed of official statements of state bodies of Azerbaijan, extracts from program documents of political parties of the country, statements of President Ilham Aliyev, opinions of local political scientists, reports of information agencies, including Armenians, articles from Azeri magazines. A separate part of the book is dedicated to the Karabakh community, which «is represented both by leader of Shushi executive authority» Nizami Bakhmanov and chair of Karabakh Liberation Organization Akif Nagi. The edition also publishes chronicle of the talks on settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict during past two years (2004-2005).
Taking into account the limited financial resources, the edition number is not so large, as desired, Hasanov reported. In his words, Azeri entrepreneurs did not show interest towards publication of the collection. «Finding donors abroad is easier, than in our own country,» Hasanov remarked, reported Baku-based Zerkalo newspaper.
