NKR National Assembly Speaker Ashot Gulyan met with Luxembourg Parliamentary delegation, which had arrived in Karabakh to acquaint with the social and political, as well as social and economic situation in the NKR, hoping to lay foundations for further cooperation. The Karabakh Speaker hoped for impressions of the guests during their tour will help forming a favorable basis for further bilateral relations. In his turn head of the Luxembourg Parliamentary Delegation, Secretary General of the ruling parliamentary Christian-Socialist party faction, Honorary Consul of Armenia Frank P. Angel assured the tour is rather impressive: within a day and a half the delegation managed to see some of the sights of Nagorno Karabakh, as well as to take part in various useful meetings.
Answering the guests’ questions during the meeting A. Gulyan told about the process of state-building in the NKR, including the course of work of the legislative body, history of settlement of the Karabakh conflict. The Speaker remarked that the legislation in effect in NKR forms quite favorable conditions for investments and expansion of business undertakings, reports Karabakh-online.
