“Indusmin Energy” Canadian corporation will carry out a research in Armenia to find and subsequently exploit oil and gas deposits. According to the corporation press release, the respective memorandum was signed with Armenian “Geoenergetika” CJSC. The Canadian company will prospect a territory of 3325 square kilometers in the north-east of Armenia. The press release notes that “Indsumin Energy” has resolved to implement a project in Armenia taking into account the conclusion of the Californian Energy Commission, which estimates a high probability for exploiting oil fields in Armenia and has computed the expected oil volume.
