Talks between the EU and Azerbaijan within the European Neighborhood Policy (ENP) are very hard, Azeri FM Elmar Mammadyarov said. In his words, the Action Plan presented by the Azeri party will be discussed by 26 EU member states. At the same time European Commission members consider making supplements and amendments to the document, «Both the EU and Azerbaijan are interested in strengthening relations within the ENP.»
Speaking of the talks on settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, the Azeri FM said these talks «are very had.» «As of the opportunity for radical changes in the talks over the NK after the Rambouillet meeting was futile, Azerbaijan is ready to continue talks within the Prague process. We believe that the OSCE MG co-chairs and we should analyze the situation. We did not hope for attaining a certain outcome at that meeting. At the moment we have certain opinions, however speaking of these is early now,» Mammadyarov said. As of the opportunity of making changes in the institute of co-chairs, the Minister said the matter was not discussed yet, reports the 525th newspaper.
