The proposal of chairman of the French Senate Christian Poncelet to hold a trilateral meeting of the presidents of Armenia, Azerbaijan and France is interesting and will be discussed. As reported by “Turan” agency, chief of the department of external relations of the Azeri president’s administration Novrus Mamedov said. In his words, the heads of the states should discuss the proposal and make a decision themselves. It should be noted that Armenian foreign minister Vardan Oskanian had also told journalists about the initiative of the French party in Paris, upon completion of the working visit of the Armenian delegation to France. At the same time he emphasized that the Azeri party should provide strong guarantees for the next meeting within that format to be held in Yerevan with participation of the Azeri president.
