Today the relocation to Armenia of a liaison battalion of one of the Russian military bases situated in Georgia completed. In the words of chief of the department of the group of Russian troops in Transcaucasia colonel Vladimir Kuparadze, an independent liaison battalion, a communication means repair workshop and a courier post signal office center totaling 100 items of military equipment were moved to Armenia. In Kuparadze’s words, the relocation was held without occurrences, representatives of the Georgian internal affairs and defense ministries accompanied the Russian motorcade to the Armenian border. The relocated subdivisions will be subordinated to the 102-nd Russian military base situated in Armenia.
