Ukraine has come out as organizer of the summit of CIS leaders in the city of Ivano-Frankovsk January 2003. As reported by Ukrainian media, the corresponding resolution of the country president Leonid Kuchma is already available. Let us remind that at the latest summit in Kishinev this October Russian president Vladimir Putin proposed Leonid Kuchma as chairman of the Council of heads of the CIS states.
