Artsakh army soldier Derenik Manukyan, 20 received a fatal gunshot wound in a frontline position of a military unit in the northern direction of the Line of Contact of Nagorno-Karabakh’s and Azerbaijan’s troops, the press service of the NKR Defense Ministry reported.
With circumstances of the attack unclear, an investigation has been launched into the June 11 incident.
The NKR Defense Ministry shares the grief of the loss and extends condolences to Derenik Manukyan’s family, relatives and fellow servicemen.
