Chairman of the Union of Armenians of Russia (UAR) Ara Abrahamian will hold negotiations with US president George Bush. As Ara Abrahamian told “Novosti” Russian agency, the meeting is planned this December. Creation of the World Union of Armenians will specifically be discussed at the talks. In the course of the present trip to the US, in the words of the UAR chairman, he will hold negotiations at the State Department, will visit Los Angeles and San Francisco. There is no alternative to approaches of the US and Russia, Abrahamian supposes, and the Armenian diaspora in both countries should do their best to contribute to that.
