Turkmen ambassador to Armenia Toyli Kurbanov has addressed the US authorities asking for political asylum. “Arminfo” agency got to know from reliable sources. At present the ambassador and his family are beyond the bounds of Armenia. As supposed by the source, having got the corresponding guarantees from the US leadership, Kurbanov is already in that country. According to the source, such a move made by the ambassador is considered by his relations with Turkmen authorities.
