In the near future a special deputy group will be formed in the French parliament to study Nagorno Karabakh approaches to a number of political issues, particularly concerning the attitude towards the Karabakh conflict settlement. NK president Arkady Ghukasian told journalists about it, commenting on his recent meetings with newly appointed French co-chair of OSCE Minsk group Andrew Jakoleny, the chief of the foreign ministry department of European countries Yug Perne, vice speaker of French parliament Roudi Saly. In the words of the NK leader, the group will closely cooperate with the corresponding structures of Nagorno Karabakh, particularly, with the parliament and the foreign ministry. At the same time Arkady Ghukasian emphasized, that within the last 5 years the Karabakh settlement process was frozen. The coming presidential elections in Armenia and Azerbaijan, in his words, will hardly contribute to activation of the process. At the same time president did not rule out the opportunity of separate meetings within the peacemaking process, particularly at the level of the Armenian and Azeri heads.
