At the meeting of the defense ministers of Georgia and Azerbaijan planned December 15 the issue of holding joint Georgian-Azeri military exercises with the participation of Ukraine and Armenia may be touched. As reported by “Mediamax” agency, deputy defense minister of Georgia Gela Bezhuashvili stated it, expressing hope for the quadripartite maneuvers to be held “in spite of the hard relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.” Let us note that in the course of the three-day visit of Azeri defense department head Safar Abiyev to Tbilisi the signing of an agreement on military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Georgia is planned.
