At the meeting of Russian and Georgian military experts an arrangement was agreed on the order and conditions of redeployment of some Russian military units from Georgia to Armenia. As reported by “Arminfo” agency, commander of the group of Russian troops in the Transcaucasia lieutenant general Nikolay Zolotov stated it. In his words, “we managed to arrange a number of questions, in particular, that of speeding up the removing to Russia part of ammunition from the Russian military depot situated in Georgian region of Sagarejo.” Meanwhile, as reported by “ITAR-TASS” agency, the positions of the parties regarding the time of withdrawal of Russian military bases from Batumi and Akhalkalaki remained the same – as before Russia insists on a 11-year-long term, while Georgia limits it with a 3-year period.
