Azerbaijan extradited a Karabakh Defense Army contract soldier to the Karabakh side on Wednesday, November 18, at 1:30 pm.
Andranik Grigoryan had gone across to the Azerbaijani side on March 22, 2015, deserting the frontline military post of a Karabakh Defense Army unit, located in the eastern part of the contact line.
Grigoryan's extradition to the Karabakh side was mediated by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) mission in the Nagorno Karabakh Republic, near Bash Karvend settlement.
