Establishment of relations with Armenia might become a courageous step for the new government of Turkey. Armenian-Turkish commission for reconciliation member, YSU professor David Hovanisian has stated that in his interview with “Arminfo” agency. According to him, the new government formed by “Justice and Development” party enjoying the trust credit in Turkey might make that step perfectly realizing that the establishment or relations with Armenia is beneficial for both Armenian-Turkish relations and regional stability in the region. “I do not think that problems between Armenia and Turkish are that unsolvable”, the scientist noted. At the same time he expressed an opinion, “Justice and Development” party would not make sudden steps in the process of the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict as having serious values, the party stands for the peaceful settlement of the issue.
