ARMENIAN AND RUSSIAN CENTRAL BANKS TO SIGN AGREEMENT ON COOPERATION

In the nearest future, the Armenian and Russian Central Banks plan to sign the agreement on cooperation regulating the relations of the two CBs in the spheres of the bank supervision. As «De-Facto» agency reports, according to Armenian Central Bank chair Tigran Sarkisian, «the requirements of the new legislatures of the two states and the new stage of the economic cooperation will be considered in the agreement». The part of the Armenian shares in the Russian banks and the parts of the Russian one in the Armenian banks, the volume of financial flows will be determined at the coming negotiations, the possible bank risks and methods of joint control over them will be determined. RA CB head noted, Yerevan is interested in the direct Russian capital shares in the Armenian commerce banks that will allow to increase the efficacy of the bank supervision and to minimize the possible risks.
