On night of November 9 an explosion took place near the Armenian church of Russian city of Krasnodar. As reported by “Yerkramas” newspaper of the Armenians of the south of Russia, an explosive assembly was thrown at the side entrance of the church from a neighboring territory. The church water pipe, the door and a concrete slab, where the explosion occurred, are damaged. No one was injured. The officers of law-enforcement bodies, who have arrived at the scene, found it difficult to determine the explosive mechanism’s nature. In the opinion of an expert invited by “Yerkramas” newspaper, it was a battle grenade. Meanwhile, as reported by a church worker, who wished to remain unknown, the militia representatives made the guard take the blame upon himself and say that the explosion was due to a petard thrown by himself.
