Armenian military distance learning program wins NATO award

Armenian Defense Ministry’s working group for distance learning participated in the NATO e-Learning Forum held at the Virginia Modeling, Analysis and Simulation Center in the U.S. city of Suffolk.

The distance learning program, developed for the Armenian armed forces, won the first prize at the contest-exhibition organized in the framework of the event, the Defense Ministry said in a statement.

During the forum, the Armenian working group presented their achievements in the sphere of distant learning.

Also participating in the contest-exhibition were NATO member states, including the United States, Finland and Turkey.

The program which won the NATO award is already embedded in the military education and personnel training programs of the Armenian armed forces.
