ARMENIA SHOULD ACTIVELY INVOLVE IN REGIONAL ENERGY PROJECTS, GEORGIAN OIL CORPORATION HEAD CONSIDERS

Armenia should be actively involved in regional energy projects. Chairman of the international oil corporation of Georgia Georgy Chanturia told “Mediamax” agency. In his words, implementation of large energy projects in the South Caucasus will contribute to settling of all the conflicts in the region. Commenting on the possible impact of hostilities, to which some Azeri forces call as a way to deal with the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, on realizing the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil project, Chanturia expressed confidence that the conflict would be settled via peaceful means exclusively. Regular meetings of the Armenian and Azeri leaders evidence such intentions, he noted.
