YEREVAN SERIOUSLY TAKES GEORGIA’S ASSURANCES THAT STEPS THREATENING ARMENIAN SECURITY WOULD NOT BE MADE

Georgia’s statements on that Tbilisi would not make steps threatening Armenia’s security are taken “seriously” in Yerevan. Armenian foreign minister Vardan Oskanian stated that in his interview with “Mediamax” agency. Commenting on Armenia’s attitude to the Georgian-Turkish military approaches, the minister noted “Tbilisi assures that it would not make any steps that might result in isolation of Armenia in the region”. “Nevertheless we carefully keep up with all the process as the situation can develop in other way regardless wishes”, the Armenian foreign minister noted.
