As a result of the “Made in Armenia. Expo-2002” exposition, taking place in the American city of Glendale, Armenian enterprises concluded 24 agreements. As Armenian Agency of Development executive director Vahagn Movsisian has stated, this will let have $24-million increase of the volume of export of Armenian products to the US. It should be noted that 77 Armenian enterprises presented their products at the “Made in Armenia. Expo-2002” exposition. Mainly, agricultural, textile, high technology products as well as alcoholic drinks were presented.
