Leader of the Republican party of Georgia David Berdzenishvili has criticized the statements of Russian political scientist Andranik Mihranian, who recently expressed opinion in Yerevan that “the weaker Georgia, the better for Armenia”. As reported by Georgian mass media, the Georgian politician called such statements not anti-Georgian, but rather anti-Armenian, as the strengthening of Georgia suits Armenia, which in that case “will not any more feel hostage of Russia under the conditions of lasting exacerbation of the Armenian-Turkish relations”.
