One of the leaders of the Chechen separatists Ahmed Zakayev thinks aggravation of the tense situation in Samtskhe-Javakhetia region of Georgia populated mainly by Armenians “quite possible”. In his interview with “Prime-News” agency, Zakayev stated that Russia does not give up the idea of dissolution of Georgia and provokes conflict situations in different regions of that state. According to the leader of the Chechen separatists, the Armenia-Russia active cooperation does not agree with joint interests of Caucasus.
