ARMENIA AND UKRAINE SIGNED FOUR BILATERAL AGREEMENTS TODAY

Four bilateral agreements have been signed during the visit of Ukrainian president Leonid Kuchma to Armenia. The agreements on military cooperation is signed between the defense ministries of Armenia and Ukraine and the agreement “on cooperation in the sphere of energy and energy equipment supplies” was signed between the ministries of energy of the two states. The agreements between the governments of the two states are also signed – “On mutual protection of secret information” and “On cooperation in the spheres of information, publishing and printing”. It should be noted the official part of Kuchma’s visit to Armenia has begun today and will end October 11. The delegation led by the president of Ukraine includes ministers of foreign affairs, fuel and energy, industrial policy, state defense secretary, the chair of the state committee for information policy and television, the chair of the Union of Armenians of Ukraine and other officials.
