Tbilisi considers the question of opening Armenian consulate in Akhalkalaki city not urgent. Plenipotentiary of the Georgian President in Samtskhe-Javakhetia region Teymuraz Mosiashvili stated it while commenting on Armenian Prime Minister’s recent proposal to open Armenian consulate in that Armenian-populated region of Georgia. “It is more important to launch the state program on social and economic development of Javakhetia, in which international organizations will also take part,” – T.Mosiashvili stated.
