Russian defense minister Sergey Ivanov today has not excluded the possibility of strengthening the united grouping of troops deployed in Armenia. “We are interested in that our presence in the Armenian territory were not limited to the presence of military base only”, he stated. According to the Russian minister, “the united grouping of troops in Armenia stabilizes military and political situation in Caucasus.”
