The economic cooperation between the Russian Saratov region and Armenia makes progress. Saratov region governor Dmitri Ayatskov stated that at the meeting with RA president Robert Kocharian. Ayatskov noted, the increase of the commodity turnover between Armenia and the region is evidence to that. Noting that about 30 thousand Armenians reside in Saratav region, Saratov governor especially noted the fact that none of them is unemployed. The governor informed that the Armenians are practically engaged in all the spheres in Saratov. Ayatskov noted, it is necessary to establish joint enterprises to enhance the cooperation. It should be also noted, in the course of Ayatskov’s visit to Yerevan, the possibility of the supplies of Yak-42 airplanes, refrigerating plants, gas and energy-efficient equipment, digital automatic telephone systems, construction material, food staff to Armenia will be considered.
