California governor Grey Davis has approved the bill according to which the students of the universities of the State will study the history of the Holocaust and Armenian genocide. The subject will be included in the university curriculum from 2003. According to the report of the Armenian Assembly of America, the recollections of the eye-witnesses of the tragic events of the lives of the Armenia and Jewish peoples are also included. The new subject teachers will have the opportunity to study the archival documents, besides the center of Holocaust and Armenian genocide studies for the training of the teachers of that subject will be established at the Californian University.
