CHINA SIGNIFIES STRENGTHENING COOPERATION WITH ARMENIAN ARMY, DEPUTY CHAIRMAN OF PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA MILITARY COUNCIL STATED

Assistant minister of defense, chief of general staff of the Armenian armed forces Mikayel Harutyunian met with deputy chairman of the Central Military Council of the People’s Republic of China Chzhan Vannian September 12. “The Chinese party signifies strengthening relations of friendship and cooperation with the Armenian army, as it fits the interests of the peoples of the two countries, serves to securing peace and stability in the region and the entire world,” – said Ch.Vannian. He also confirmed China’s fundamental position on Taiwan question, expressed gratitude to Armenia for support of the People’s Republic of China regarding that problem.
