The reports on US Armenian lobby being tied with CCIC company, which is charged to build the Azeri segment of the Baku-Ceyhan oil pipeline, are “idle talk.” As reported by “Arminfo” agency making reference to “Turan”, Azeri President’s personnel chief Ramiz Mehtiyev stated it. In his words, Armenians scattered all over the world are present in many companies, but it cannot cause refusal to cooperate with those organizations. Let us note that according to the Baku press information, “CCIC Armenian-Arab company registered in Greece, whose chief advisor is vice-chairman of the East American branch of “Hayastan” all-Armenian fund Gevork Toroyan,” is charged to build the Azeri segment of Baku-Ceyhan oil pipeline. Thus, journalists have expressed apprehensions that the means spent on the oil pipeline construction will ultimately appear on “Hayastan” fund accounts.
