“Armenia before and after the genocide: history, culture and memory” conference will be held in Minnesota September 13. Historical documents of Armenian merchants of Iran, Armenian school of Cyprus, as well as documents of Armenians, who had moved to France after the genocide of 1915, will be presented at the forum organized by the US Armenian diaspora. Professors of Minnesota University Richard Hovhannesian and Taner Akcam, as well as Harvard University professor Natan Glazer will present the documents. The conference is being organized with the assistance of the Center for Holocaust and genocide studies under Minnesota University.
